Screens for the six most common sexually transmitted infections.
Finger-Stick Sample, and Urine Sample
Annual testing is recommended by the CDC for adults who engage in sexual activity at least once in that given year. You might benefit from annual STI testing if you’re between the ages of 13 and 65 and engage in sexual activity, have never had an STD test before and/or have had unprotected sex.
Collect your specimen in the morning and drop it in the mail, on the same day, using the pre-paid envelope we provide in your test kit.
Chlamydia testing is used to screen this bacterial infection.
A positive (reactive) result indicates the presence of an active bacterial infection. A negative (non-reactive) result indicates the probable absence of infection at the time of sample collection. Higher-risk individuals should be regularly retested for infection.
Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) antibody test, is used to find out if someone has ever been infected with the hepatitis C virus. The HCV antibody test looks for antibodies to the hepatitis C virus in blood.
The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) test looks for HIV antibodies and antigens in your blood. An antigen is the part of the HIV virus that triggers your immune system to fight the infection. When your viral load is high, you have more HIV in your body. This means your immune system is not fighting HIV very well. HIV viral load tests are used to monitor the progress of your HIV infection and how well your treatment is working.
This test will check for antibodies to Treponema pallidum, the bacteria responsible for causing the sexually transmitted infection syphilis. A positive treponemal test result means that you may have syphilis. A follow-up treponemal test is required to confirm a positive diagnosis. Negative test results indicate that you may not have syphilis, although additional testing may be needed if you are experiencing symptoms.
Trichomoniasis testing detects the Trichomonas vaginalis parasite.
Many who have chlamydia don’t develop symptoms, but they can still infect others through sexual contact. Symptoms may include genital pain and discharge from the vagina or penis.
What are signs of chlamydia in women?
Increased or unusual vaginal discharge

Gonorrhea often has no symptoms, but it can cause serious health problems, even without symptoms.
Most women with gonorrhea do not have any symptoms. Even when a woman has symptoms, they are often mild and can be mistaken for a bladder or vaginal infection.
Symptoms in women can include:
Painful or burning sensation when peeing
Increased vaginal discharge
Vaginal bleeding between periods
Men who do have symptoms may have:
A burning sensation when peeing
A white, yellow, or green discharge from the penis
Painful or swollen testicles (although this is less common)
Most people have no symptoms. Those who do develop symptoms may have fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, and yellowing of the eyes and skin, pain in the abdomen, gastrointestinal bleeding, bloating, fluid in the abdomen, nausea, fatigue, fever, or loss of appetite, depression or weight loss.
What Are the Symptoms of HIV?
Fever
Chills
Rash
Night sweats
Muscle aches
Sore throat
Fatigue
Swollen lymph nodes
The first 2-4 weeks after being infected with HIV, you may feel feverish, achy, and sick. These flu-like symptoms are your body’s first reaction to the HIV infection. During this time, there’s a lot of the virus in your system, so it’s really easy to spread HIV to other people.
A person can potentially have an asymptomatic HIV infection without knowing if they do not get tested. In some cases, this stage can last for 10 years . A person may not discover they have an HIV infection until their immune system cannot fight off opportunistic infections, such as salmonella or herpes.
The first stage involves a painless sore on the genitals, rectum, or mouth. After the initial sore heals, the second stage is characterized by a rash. Then, there are no symptoms until the final stage which may occur years later. This final stage can result in damage to the brain, nerves, eyes, or heart.
People may experience:
Groin: painless ulcers, sores, vaginal discharge, or wart-like growths on genitals
Skin: rashes, small bump, or ulcers
Also common: fatigue, itching, mouth ulcer, rash on the palms and soles, sore throat,
swollen lymph nodes, weight loss, or rectal lining inflammation.
In women, the infection is usually in the vagina. In men, the infection is usually in the urethra, a tube in the penis that carries urine (pee) out of the body. Trichomoniasis is a common sexually transmitted infection caused by a parasite. In women, trichomoniasis can cause a foul-smelling vaginal discharge, genital itching and painful urination. Men who have trichomoniasis typically have no symptoms.
